Artist, producer and songwriter Jackson Dollinger is greeting the new year with the release of his first EP, ‘Social Isolation’ on January 19, 2021. Jackson is a recording artist who has a lot of experience, in spite of his young age. At only 13, he has several successful releases under his belt, and he is also an actor, starring in “Sydney to the Max,” a hit show on Disney Channel. Whether he’s acting or singing, Jackson loves to make music that connects with people on a deeper personal level. His sound is a combination of different genres and sonic aesthetics, most notably Pop, Trap, and R&B with a modern feel. His upcoming studio release, “Social Isolation,” is a perfect example of this excellent creative balance, showcasing the artist’s personality and his ability to make music that sets the bar higher in terms of personality and innovation. As the title of this release might suggest, the songs are inspired by the struggles we all had to face throughout 2020. Let’s face it; the past year has been quite challenging for most people, especially musicians, who have often been stuck at home and unable to tour or create. Jackson took advantage of the downtime and tried to make the best of it by creating some of his strongest songs to date. The new EP features four original songs, each blurring the lines between different styles and revealing Jackson’s incredible charisma and versatility. The opening track, “Golden Hour,” plays as an impactful introduction to this EP and mission statement simultaneously. The second track, ‘Moonlight’ features Kish and is an outstanding collaboration with one of The Netherlands finest new artists. ‘Wait or Run’ continues the EP with a lush guitar melody that crescendos to a climatic chorus alternating between ease and excitement between verse, bridge and hook. The EP descends to a slow soulful finish with ‘Walk Alone’. “Social Isolation” comes highly recommended if you are a fan of artists such as Justin Bieber, Drake, and Juice WRLD, just to mention a few. “Social Isolation” is undoubtedly going to be one of the new year’s musical highlights, and it definitely sets the mood for a great start for Jackson Dollinger.
