Ayden Mekus is an actor, YouTuber and a member of Piper Rockelle’s “Squad.” He has over 800k followers on Instagram and is also known for his clothing line, Positive Choice Apparel.

He started a clothing line to spread positivity
Once I became an actor and my fan base started to grow rapidly, I realized then that I could be an influencer to a large number of people. I wanted to send out positive choice messages but wanted it to be more than just a one-time thing. My choice was to use apparel, t-shirts, hoodies, and other items to send a positive choice message to the world. It really was so simple. One person wears a shirt out in public that bears a positive message, and the result is that hundreds of people could end up seeing that one message during the day. From that one thought, Positive Choice Apparel was born.
My favorite two designs with their own message are “Spread Kindness” and “Be A Buddy, Not A Bully.” I think those words stick with you once you see them. Plus I love the colors.

I would say this was up there on my Dhar Mann favorite list, for two reasons. First, Dhar Mann himself was in the video with me. It’s very rare that he acts in his videos, so this made it really special. He wanted to act in this video to add more reflection on the bullying problem and wanted to show ways you can deal with it. The other reason this is one of my favorites is because it ties right into my anti-bullying campaigns. I loved the message this video sends, as it shows that “online” bullying is a huge problem with teens. Better yet, the video shows how to better deal with online bullying. The message emphasizes that the way people treat you is a statement about who they are, it’s not a statement about who you are.
The best part about being in Piper Rockelle’s squad is:
When you are with any group of kids that work hard and attempt to send out great messages, the results are enjoyable!
He once had a real bad case of stage fright!
Surprisingly, it was just a few years ago that I had very low confidence and was afraid of acting and any public speaking. In fact I was in Middle School and it was the day for my class to act out a play in front of the school. I was so scared that I made my dad call me in sick for school that day.
He’s written a song!
I am working on a song, one that I wrote for someone special, called DayDream. It is my first song ever and I look forward to the fans enjoying it. As soon as the video part of this song is complete, I will release it.
