Pop-country artist Jake Banfield has received major cuts with artists like Little Mix, Anne-Marie, and Madison Beer recording his songs. However, today Jake has released his new single “Sleeping Alone.”
The singer-songwriter has been sharing his journey across TikTok and amassed nearly 1 million TikTok followers. Best described as a little bit of pop country, a hint of alternative, and a touch hip-hop, Jake’s versatility is what draws his diverse fan base from countries around the world.

I wrote “Sleeping Alone” with my best friend, Kellen Hines & incredibly talented songwriter David Morris & incredible rising producer Brandon Manley. It was one of those songs where it just comes out of you. We ended up writing the full song in about an hour and knew we had something special on our hands. This song has raw emotion embedded within it that spills out to the listener and I feel like that is a big reason as to why this song special.
TikTok has proven valuable to his career.
TikTok has been the biggest catalyst so far in terms of growing my fan base throughout the world. Also, having two songwriting cuts from major pop artists in my first year of music (Madison Beer, Little Mix, and Anne Marie) helped get my foot in the door. Finally, spending time in Nashville working with some of the best songwriters and producers in the industry have given me a better understanding of the music industry.

That I grew up playing basketball for 19 years, I was an all-state basketball player in the state of Oklahoma out of high school, and went on to get a scholarship and play college basketball.
