Hello Mason, great to chat with you! For those unfamiliar with you, tell us a little bit about yourself and your background outside of the world of showbiz.

Well outside of acting I do a lot of fun things. For example, I go to Disneyland with my family several times a month.  I go outside in my front yard and practice my lightsaber skills, or I play with my friends on Minecraft. We have this really cool world we are working on!

You’ve got quite a lot of credits under your belt for being so young. What do you credit your success to?

I credit my success to how far I’ve come from my family. They have been a huge support and some of my biggest cheerleaders. Another credit goes to my mom. The hours of helping me with my scripts, driving me from one audition to another. She has been my rock.

What’s the best part about being on Schooled?

The best part of being on Schooled was just working with everyone there! They treat and make you feel like you are a part of the family.  I wish I could go back in time and just relive those awesome moments with my cast and crew family.

Tell us about your new movie Catch the Bullet and your role in it?

Catch the Bullet is a powerful western starring Peter Facinelli (Twilight franchise) shows what happens when you push a good man too far. Britt MacMasters (Jay Pickett), a U.S. Marshal, returns from a mission to find his father (Tom Skerritt) wounded and his son, Chad, kidnapped by the outlaw Jed Blake (Gattlin Griffith). Hot on their trail, Britt forms a posse with a gunslinging deputy and a stoic Pawnee tracker. But both Jed and Britt tread dangerously close to the Red Desert’s Sioux territory, which poses a menace far greater than either can imagine.

What has been your most memorable moment in show biz so far?

My most memorable moment would be when I got to work with Calum Worthy on the set of Assimilate.  He was so nice and he was my favorite character on the Disney Channel show Austin and Ally.  Calum was someone I used to look up to when I was younger. I used to watch him all the time and working with him was a dream come true.

Tell me one mess-up or goof on set you wish you could do over to fix?

The one mess up/goof I had done on set and wish I could fix is on the set of Schooled.  It was my first day and there was this paragraph in my script that I just could not get.  I think we only did it over 6 times because I kept messing it up. I was getting so nervous and it felt like it was forever.

Best advice you have gotten so far in your career?

The best advice I’ve gotten is to keep your head up! Even if you get the door of opportunity slammed on you doesn’t mean that it’s over — you just have to keep trying your best and don’t give up!

Long-term career goals?

My long-term career goal is to continue to be an actor. I want to also be a director and go to college to become an engineer. I think that I would be an amazing director because I have an understanding of what the actors are feeling and thinking, and it will help me navigate through the scenes.

Biggest pet peeve?

My biggest pet peeve when my friends are not honest. I am an honest and loyal friend. When I am betrayed and lied to, it really hurts my feelings and I get really sad.

What’s your favorite game and why?

My favorite game would be Minecraft because you can express your creativity and build whatever you want.  The sky’s the limit!  I also grew up with it,  so it will always have a special place in my heart!

Favorite influencer/TikToker/Youtuber?

My favorite YouTuber would be Oompaville. He is just so nice and caring. He really cares for his community. Plus, he’s funny!!

Secret fear?

A secret fear I have would be losing my family. I would be so sad if I was left to live here on earth without them.

Tell me something people would be surprised to know about you.

Well one thing people will be surprised to know is I’m a HUGE Andrew Garfield Spiderman fan. He is my favorite of the three spidermen. I am such a fan that when my mom and I cruise around in our convertible I like to put my Spiderman mask on and make people smile. I have also had several people record me on their phones and we drive by and I am in character. It really embarrasses my mom, but it really makes me happy.

The one thing I cannot live without is__________.

The one thing I could not live without besides my family would be my dog Dauby. He is one of my best friends. He knows some of my inner secrets. I love the way he likes to snuggle up with me when we go to bed.

Tell me ONE food you REFUSE to eat and why?

I will never eat escargot again… My mom and dad said that when I was little (like 2 years old) and we were on vacation, I had them and loved them. They said that I literally sucked the butter and garlic out of them. Then fast forward to a year ago while we were on vacation at Walt Disney World/Epcot. We were eating at this amazing French restaurant and I ate a bunch of them and did not realize what I was eating. It wasn’t until I was talking to my friend and she told me what it was. I then decided that I NEVER will eat them again.

What else are you working on or have coming up next?

I have a bunch of stuff in the works. I have been auditioning a lot. I am also writing a couple of short films.  I have one done and still writing away on the second one. I hope that someday I can present them to the right people to turn them into a feature film.
