Featured in this video are Sabrina Carpenter, Fifth Harmony, Lucy Hale, R5, Jacob Hopkins, Alyson Stoner, Bridgit Mendler, Benjamin Stockham, Katherine McNamara, Joel Courtney, Bradley Steven Perry, Jake Short, Karan Brar, Charlie Koontz, Ashley Argota, Austin North, Sean Ryan Fox, Alexa Ferr, Rowan Blanchard, Megan Nicole, Bruno Amato, Ashlee Keating and Jordan Fisher.

All proceeds from this highly anticipated and well-attended annual event went towards leukemia, cancer and AIDS research through The T.J. Martell Foundation, a music industry charitable organization which provides money for innovative, early-stage medical research projects targeted towards the development of improved clinical treatments which otherwise might not be funded.

Attendees experienced a fun-filled day with games, live musical performances, carnival activities, a petting zoo, a silent auction and delicious barbecue food — all while raising much-needed money for a good cause. In fact, Family Day, held also in New York and Nashville, has raised nearly $5 million for Martell-funded research at nine hospitals across the United States.

Honored at this year’s event was Ken Bunt, President of Disney Music Group, who received the Humanitarian Award. Bunt oversees all of The Walt Disney Company’s recorded music and music publishing operations including Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records and Disney Music Publishing.

Here are some quotes about the event from the headliners:

“The T.J. Martell Foundation does such important work and Ken Bunt has been so supportive in my musical journey, that I’m completely honored and thrilled to be a part of the day,” says Lucy Hale.

“We went to the T.J. Martell event when we first came to LA,” explains R5. “We learned about the incredible work they do and we are proud and excited to perform this time around and to honor Ken Bunt.”

“I’m really excited to perform and be a part of this great foundation and the important work they do and I’m honored to do this for Ken Bunt,” says frequent Teens Wanna Know interviewee Sabrina Carpenter.
