Young actor Chase Brown has landed a great role in the highly anticipated HBO series “Lovecraft Country” from Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams.
“Lovecraft Country” follows the story of ‘Atticus Freeman’ (Jonathan Majors) as he travels across the U.S. in the 1950’s in search of his missing father. The series focuses heavily on matters of race, relevant for the times we are experiencing right now. Chase, in his second credited role ever, plays ‘Young Atticus Freeman’ in the year 1934.
The young actor is just starting out but he is already making headway. He can be seen in a number of commercials including Belgard Paves the Way and Breathe of Life. He also joined up and coming rapper NBA YoungBoy in his music video for his single Lonely Child in 2019. Kicking off 2020, Chase joined the latest season of Tyler Perry’s “Ruthless” and “The Underground Railroad” from Amazon studios.
Chase, 11 years old, likes to spend his free time fishing, playing basketball, and playing video games. He is a huge sports fan and straight A student in school. He looks up to Michael B. Jordan and hopes to one day get a chance to get behind the camera to direct and produce.

The biggest negative pressure for kids these days is trying to be someone that they are not due to pressure from their friends and sometimes what they see on social media. I avoid this by always being myself and not a follower. I’m just me.
He’s got smart fish.
I have two fish tanks. I feed the fish in the fish tank worms sometimes and even feed them with my hand. They even know when it’s time to eat.

The one thing I like to eat once a week is more like a snack. It’s Trolli Sour Brite Eggs. I usually eat them when I leave track practice on Sunday.
